I love logos with a simple effective story, and that expresses such a strong personality. The Pirelli logo has a rich history. The stretched letter P represents the high degree of flexibility and stability of the product: rubber, and later the rubber tire. You can even discover a race track in it. The typographic design also has something fascinating. The stretching of letters creates a disharmony in the typeface, that normally counts as a typographical mortal sin. I really like deviations which creates a unique starting point. This logo is already over one hundred years old. It is fair, clear, humorous, simple, powerful, alienating and iconic to this day. A beautiful personality.
