During my studies at the academy St. Joost in 1993 I got a copy of Dutch Magazine in my hands. The first thing that stood out was the special character of the logo in the top left corner, and then the black and white photo of the female model. The logo of Dutch Magazine is designed by Swip Stolk in 1991. The logo is both powerful and illustratively refined, the sword pricks and the crown gives a niche élan. And that symbolism translates exactly what Dutch Magazine was: the high-profile magazine of the avant-garde that brought the very best in fashion.
