The logo for Holland Festival by Thonik. Based on this logo, typographer Paul van der Laan from Bold Monday developed a complete alphabet that became a strong starting point for a campaign. The logo (also font) - inspired by the classic Glaser Stencil font from 1970 - offers space for annually varying thematic, colorful interpretations. In particular, the simplicity of the idea (HF ligature + stencil) in combination with a perfect execution at detail level, ensure that the logo is not only widely applicable, but that it is also always clearly recognizable.

buro van OnsThe logo for restaurant As is representative of the working method of buro van Ons. This method starts with a ‘work rule’, a conceptual sentence as a starting point for everything that has to do with the brand. For restaurant As, that is ‘Food in its purest form’. That required a logo in its purest form: a monogram by graphic designer Niels Meulman. By taking account of the application of the logo in advance (by means of a brand stamp and laser technology), the characteristic ‘bridges’ in the monogram are not only characteristic but also very useful in all communications as a brand or template.
