The corporate identity of Royal BAM Group is designed by Total Design. The logo already dates from 1999, just like the house style colors dark blue and light yellow. After the acquisition of HBG in 2003, Total Identity adjusted the BAM house style: The logo and word mark were maintained, but the color scheme changed considerably.
What really appeals to me in the logo is the play with space and residual space. You can read the logo in various ways, both 2D and 3D. That makes this logo very strong. However, I think the color combination before the merger is a lot better. So it shows again: Color in a house style is not just a choice.
